Completely free to enter and open globally to all tourism boards, tour operators and destinations, the evening wittles through a plethora of award categories presented, including Most Desirable City in Europe, Most Desirable City in the World, Most Desirable Country in the World, Most Desirable Region in the World – to name a few. The lucky winners are decided either by an independent panel of expert judges, or – the harshest judges of them all – passionate Wanderlust readers!<\/p>\n

After just missing out at last year\u2019s awards, this year Cuba came up trumps claiming the title for Most Desirable Island in the World – and rightly so! From it\u2019s pulsating capital city of Havana famed for its cadillac-lined cobbles, iconic cocktail bars, and captivating history to the lush countryside of Vi\u00f1ales Valley, heritage highlights of Santiago de Cuba, and world-class beach resorts of Varadero – this Caribbean jewel is as diverse as a destination can get.<\/p>\n
