The Castro brothers, along with Che Guevara, landed on these shores and went on to overthrow the dictatorship of Batista. The park is also known for its pristine sea cliffs and uplifted marine terraces guarding stunning coral reefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The park\u2019s landscape is surrounded by virgin woodlands and is home to ancient cacti, hundreds of years old.
