Cuba has removed its requirements for visitors to this beautiful Island to provide a negative Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and proof of Covid-19 vaccination Certificate.
From the 06th April 2022 you will no longer be required to prove a negative PCR test to enter Cuba, and travel restrictions on those who aren’t fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have also been lifted.
Cuba’s incredibly successful vaccination programme (over 85% of the entire population are now vaccinated against COVID-19 making it one of the most successful vaccination programmes in the world) means that Cuba’s Government now feel confident enough to remove these restrictions on visitors, in what is another sign that life is returning to normal for Cubans who are now expecting a large increase in tourists who have already started to flock to this Paradise Isle in the Caribbean.
To ensure that Cuba and its visitors stay safe, random PCR tests will continue at all airports, if anyone does test positive, they will be admitted to a local health centre designated for tourists.
All hotels and resorts will keep their stringent levels of Covid safety measures in place, including deep cleaning.
