Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean, and the 17th largest in the world, the main Island is about 1250km long or about 110,860 km², the country is made up of 1,600 islands, cays and inlets.

The population of Cuba currently stands at 11.2 million, with the majority of people living along the northern shores. Cuba’s 3 most populous cities are, Havana, Cuba’s capital city which is home to 2.13 million people, the second largest city is Santiago De Cuba with a population of about 433,498 people, and Camaguey which is home to around 306,183.
