2. National Museum of Fine Arts

3. Yusi’s Art Alliance
Located in Cienfuegos, this art gallery showcases the spirit and heart of the Cuban people. This gallery was built by a collective of 15 art lovers who decided to give back to their community and other artists. They knew that there were artists who couldn’t afford materials. So they put their resources together to create a place where they could create and sell their art.

4. Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales (CDAV)
There are no excuses not to visit this gem of an art gallery in Old Havana. This space celebrates established and new artists. This 3-level gallery focuses on experimental art. Located in a restored 18th-century townhouse mansion. They hold two art events per year. One is a competition called salon de Premiados. The other is the Contemporary Cuban Art Salon.

5. Villa Manuela
Opened in 2004, this gallery showcases work from the National Association of Writers and Artists members. There are only 10 shows a year so make sure you look ahead to see what is on display. But, you’re sure to see styles from a diverse mix of artistic styles.

6. Martha Jimenez Studio Workshop
Expect a fun sense of humour when you visit one of Cuba’s greatest living artists. This studio/gallery has everything from paintings, pots and sculptures. Located in the city of Camaguey. You’re greeted by bronze statues created by Martha herself as you arrive. And you simply must explore the boutiques and cafes that surround the museum.

7. Factoria Habana
Factoria Habana was established in 2009. This spacious art gallery plays host to Cuba’s most contemporary and experimental art scene. Come here for edgy works from up and coming new artists. The art goes beyond the canvas spreading to the floors, walls and ceilings. This loft space is pretty new but has made a big impact on the Cuban art scene in Old Havana. It was previously used in 2016 by Karl Largerfeld’s ‘Work in Progress’ which increased its popularity.

Part cafe, part gallery! What’s not to love? In Santiago de Cuba you can enjoy local artistry and even purchase some yourself. Enjoy contemporary art from local artists that includes 3D pieces and graphics.

9. Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Center

All are housed in a stunning old colonial building.

10. Servando Art Gallery
This gallery has an ever-changing display, changing every 3 weeks. This means that new and different innovative artists can showcase here often.
