The property’s sixteenth-century inspired interior is just as impressive as its grand exterior, with traditional furnishings, spacious rooms, plus a premium and personalised service available to all guests.
In addition to comfortable rooms, this luxury hotel houses one of the best gourmet restaurants in the city, serving up delicious Cuban recipes. When you’re not indulging in the cuisine, one of the hotel’s special features is the Fumoir, where you can discover the different scents and aromas of Cuban cigars – a must-try while in the city.

3. Villa Trinidad
Ideal for families or groups, Villa Trinidad has been standing proud in the heart of the city’s historic centre since 1820 and has recently been restored (respecting the building’s architectural and colonial values, of course) ready to welcome guests seeking an authentic stay.
The villa features details and materials used in the construction of Trinidad’s houses in the first decades of the 19th century, such as wooden bars and tiles, so simply staying here will give you a taste of how the locals lived (and still do) during this time. There’s even a pretty courtyard to relax or dine in after a long day of soaking up the sights.
This enchanting family home makes for a comfortable stay with excellent service and hospitality, located right in the thick of the action. The property is just a few steps from the popular Plaza Mayor, where you’ll find landmarks including the Cathedral, Museum of Trinitarian Architecture and Municipal Historical Museum – otherwise called “Romantic Museum” – among other architectural delights.
